Job Opening - Paraprofessional Behavior Assistants


Emerald Behavior and Education Specialists, LLC is seeking qualified, experienced paraprofessionals in the field of Special Education. Our mission is to provide quality, individualized service to our clients, with the goal of continued independence in the least restrictive environment. Emerald Behavior and Education Specialists is seeking individuals who share our philosophy to join our team. Behavior Assistants will be helping to implement Behavior and Education Plans in schools and homes, under the supervision of qualified Behavior Analysts and Educational Specialists. Behavior Assistants will be working with students who have a variety of special needs, which may include Autism, Emotional Disturbance, ADHD and other developmental disabilities. Job duties include: implementing behavior plans, direct instructional teaching, data collection and working collaboratively with teachers, specialists and other professionals. 

Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience working with Special Education students. HS diploma required/ BA degree preferred.

Hours are a typical school day, 6-7 hours per day.

On-call substitutes are also needed.
